Our client, a luxury hospitality brand, is currently seeking a VP, Communications to join their UAE based head office team.  The VP, Communications will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the corporate communications strategy, both internally and externally.

This role will play a key role as the organisation continues to expand the brand globally and will work with senior management to advise and guide on new market entries.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the VP, Communications will be an excellent communicator with a strong strategic, commercial, and creative mindset. You will require vision and motivation to collaborate with brand teams across the group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior management and Executives to develop and implement core strategies to elevate the profile of the brand to key audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with international media agencies to maximise exposure in key regional markets for the brand, across all platforms.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure a commercial element is always included in communications strategy.
  • Be brand focused, and continuously build relationships with key brands and create partnerships that will strengthen the organisation’s brand growth globally.
  • Work to develop all press material including brand development, visual and key brand positioning through messaging.
  • Ensure constant monitoring of competitor’s activities and market intelligence incl. press material and coverage with feedback to be shared with key stakeholders.
  • To manage and own the P&L and budget for the corporate communications function in line with business needs globally.
  • Supports and implements the global crisis communication strategy.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience and will have led on communications strategies within a luxury brand environment or the hospitality sector at a global or regional level and will be passionate about building and strengthening key stakeholder relationships for the organisation both internally and externally.
