An award-winning, international strategic communications agency is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their high-performing Sustainability and Trade team. This is an exciting and hugely rewarding opportunity, as you’ll play a leading role in ensuring the Sustainability and Trade team continues to build on its massive success.
In this role you will support in advising clients and in the overall management of key accounts, while also managing the team’s more junior members. You’ll also be involved in new business growth, including contributing to proposals and pitches.
Consultant or Senior Consultant Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice and client counsel informed by your sector expertise and broad intelligence gathering on sustainability policy developments
- Managing client relationships and driving the timely delivery of projects
- Working closely with the Associate Director to build and manage a world-class European trade and sustainability policy team
- Contributing to new business pitching, as well as identifying opportunities to cross-sell services
- Regularly contribute newsworthy blog posts for the website and social media
Consultant or Senior Consultant Key Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of EU trade and sustainability policy, including knowledge of the interaction between EU, international, and national policies and the impact this has on businesses
- Relevant experience in a public affairs consultancy, in-house, trade association, or European institution
- Effective time-management, organisational, and project management skills
- Recognised ability to bring creative flair and ideas to new business proposals
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Appetite to build and expand your network of business, policy, and political contacts
