Looking for a self-motivated Sales Specialist to join an Acoustic Solutions specialist in New York City, where the company has established a flagship showroom and operations hub. As Sales Specialist you will play a pivotal role in driving market growth, all aspects of business development, marketing, and sales within the Northeast, playing a key role in their exciting growth journey. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement business development plans and sales strategy in collaboration with the Director.
  • Cultivate the client portfolio, focusing on top architects & designers, general contractors, and globally delivered projects.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets based on key performance metrics.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with contractors, project managers, and end-users, serving as a technical advisor to educate and support key customers and prospects.
  • Continuously research and assess market data to identify new opportunities, product offerings, and challenges.
  • Engage with other regional managers and sales teams, contributing to the Global Business team on strategic topics affecting Acoustics business.

 Key Requirements:

  • Excel in identifying opportunities, maintaining a qualified leads pipeline, and fostering long-term customer relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Great at building market success with your ability to drive business development and sales and a proven track record in technical solution selling.
  • Ability to understand and read architectural drawings with experience selling to interior architects and GCs.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English; Danish is not mandatory, additional languages seen as a positive.
  • Some travel, up to 20% of the time, is expected, primarily domestic with occasional international trips (Boston and Washington DC are considered part of this territory).
  • BA / BS Degree or equivalent, with an extensive knowledge of construction contracting industry and experience working with high-end projects and clients.
