We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to expand their presence in the French market. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role is crucial in driving sales, building client relationships, and promoting high-quality latex products. The Sales Manager will focus on the mattress and bedding sectors, working closely with major manufacturers and retailers. They will develop and implement sales strategies, represent the company at industry events, and align product offerings with client needs, contributing significantly to growth in France.

Our client is a respected European manufacturer specialising in eco-friendly latex pillows and mattresses, renowned for their commitment to sustainability and high-quality products. Based in Wielsbeke, Belgium, they operate four production facilities and serve a predominantly European market, supplying well-known mattress manufacturers and retail brands. With a focus on natural materials and a negative CO2 footprint, our client stands out in an industry where sustainability is a key differentiator.

Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to expand market share in France.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients in the mattress and bedding sectors.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align product offerings with market demand and client needs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and client meetings, effectively promoting their sustainable products.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, adjusting sales strategies to meet targets and maintain the brand’s reputation.
  • Oversee client satisfaction and ensure service excellence to enhance client loyalty and engagement.
Key Requirements for the Sales Manager:
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the bedding or textiles industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of the French market.
  • Knowledge of eco-friendly and sustainable products is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in French, with English proficiency as a plus.
