Our client, top leading global law firm, is looking for a Public Relations Lead to join their Brand & Communications team in Paris, focusing primarily on enhancing the firm’s reputation and supporting its practices and industries.

As a pivotal member of the Brand & Communications department, you will have the opportunity to shape impactful PR programs and contribute to the firm’s continued success. With a deep understanding of public relations and a flair for strategic communication, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the law firm’s outstanding reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with key reporters at relevant media outlets and supervise firm contacts with external media; serving as the primary point of contact for any appointed PR agency.
  • Develop and execute strategic PR initiatives, including drafting press releases, securing media placements, and leveraging thought leadership opportunities.
  • Place attorney-written articles as by-lined commentary in publications; identify opportunities to leverage thought leadership – in all forms – for press commentary
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling content for digital and social media channels, including the Paris office showcase page on LinkedIn, enhancing the firm’s online presence and visibility.
  • Draft and coordinate award entries and survey submissions, facilitating interviews as required; supporting BD colleagues with submissions for the main legal directories.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the Brand & Communications team.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in public relations or related fields, ideally within a professional services environment or PR agency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in both French and English, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of PR principles and best practices, including digital marketing, branding, and media relations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for driving results and making a positive impact within the organisation.
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with media, industry influencers, and internal stakeholders.
