Our client, a strategic corporate affairs consultancy based in London, is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Public Affairs Partner to expand their current client base, build a team, and develop their brand reputation and EU client portfolio. As Public Affairs Partner you would be part of the senior management team consisting of brilliant people. Operating a partnership model, you would be entitled to equity share and competitive incentive plans. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a commercially driven public affairs professional to build a team and expand a client base, with a lot of freedom given in the role.

Originally specialising in Public Affairs, the business has grown into an integrated corporate communications and public affairs consultancy, offering the full mix across market research, digital, ESG, crisis communications and thought leadership; doubling their size in the last three years. They work with very interesting, complex, heavily regulated clients, the majority located in the UK but also across the EU and globally. The client portfolio includes Energy, Sustainability, Financial Services, Healthcare, Tech, and Food & Drink clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurturing the existing UK/global/EU client base, expanding the offering to Brussels
  • Developing, maintaining and leveraging an active network of professional contacts – attending external networking events
  • Being creative and strategic in proactively identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing the brand in Brussels through marketing initiatives and thought leadership content
  • Building and leading a successful team, using people management techniques, creating a people focused culture and supporting their career development
  • Overall responsibility for the financial administration of the Brussels office, including annual budget preparation and forecasting
