Our client is a leading healthcare logistics company, an integral part of the NHS, with a mission to procure, transport, and provide healthcare products, services, and food to NHS trusts and healthcare organisations throughout England and Wales. They extend their services to every NHS Trust and maintain a nationwide network of distribution centres. They are looking for a The Marketing Lead to join their Nottingham office.

As Marketing Lead you will oversee the development and execution of an annual marketing strategy aligned with corporate priorities, involving the entire organisation. You will craft dynamic product and brand marketing campaigns, focusing on increasing sales and brand awareness, with clear KPIs as benchmarks. This role involves analysing customer insights, market trends and best marketing practices to create successful strategies. Additionally, you will maintain analytics reporting across various platforms, extracting key insights to inform future strategy and go-to-market recommendations.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Marketing Communications Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive marketing communications strategy to support the business plan.
  • Strategic Contribution: Offer specialist insights to shape functional strategy elements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Marketing Strategy Oversight: Manage a specific area, product, or service within the larger marketing strategy, covering development and delivery.
  • Product Marketing Campaigns: Create creative and dynamic marketing campaigns for products, emphasising clear ROI and sales growth opportunities.
  • Marketing Planning: Develop and update the operational marketing plan in alignment with business goals.
  • Data-Driven Impact: Utilise data for insights, demonstrating ROI and KPIs linked to sales growth through internal and external reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Gather feedback on product or framework campaigns from key stakeholders, facilitate focus groups with these stakeholders, and ensure effective communication with them.
  • Performance Management: Supervise and report on the performance of a diverse team, establish performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members, and ensure accountability for their achievement.

Key requirements:

  • Experience of working within a matrix organisation, successfully managing complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders, from start to finish.
  • Expert in brand management and development to maximise brand impact and value.
  • Recognised expert in marketing commercialisation, creating compelling commercial propositions.
  • Expert in prioritising, planning, organising teams and activities for efficient business objective achievement.
  • Skilled in data collection and analysis, using data to shape future campaigns and demonstrate ROI.
  • Proficient in action planning, developing and executing plans based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Proficient in verbal communication, offering guidance and training to others.
  • Adaptable mindset for thriving in different scenarios, with a focus on simplicity when addressing customer needs.
