We are looking for a fresh thinking associate to join the IR and Corporate Affairs team of an agile and growing FTSE 250 healthcare company. This individual will support them in their vision to build a sustainable, diverse portfolio of 20- 25 companies focused on delivering transformational treatments to patients in innovative areas of healthcare, through which, deliver strong risk-adjusted returns for shareholders.

This is an opportunity for personal growth and exposure within a fast-moving, supportive working environment. This role will suit someone who is proactive, full of ideas, and keen to build on an existing level of experience in IR and/or Communications.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the IR and Corporate Affairs team in presenting key messages to the external environment, with a key focus on digital communications
  • Lead in development of thought leadership pieces for the website, and track ongoing visitor engagement with these articles
  • Developing portfolio company and charity case studies, results and announcements for the website, Annual Report, and Sustainability Report
  • Organisation and management of both virtual and face to face events for investment analysts, investors, academics and media
  • Monitoring peer group virtual events and making recommendations to the team on best practice
  • Assistance in responding to ad hoc external requests from investors and other stakeholders for sustainability information and developing materials for external sustainability reporting requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Extremely high attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesise complex information for a general audience
  • Passionate, driven and a team player who is well organised and willing to take initiative
  • Ability to manage and engage with multiple stakeholders, including those at a senior level, in order to simultaneously support multiple projects
  • Previous experience in an Investor Relations or Corporate Communications role is desirable
  • Awareness of social media management and strategy
