Our client is a financial advisory firm who are looking for an Innovation Management Consultant to join their office in Paris. The organisation specialises in facilitating the implementation of innovative technological solutions, minimising R&D costs, enhancing team management and supporting change, ultimately fostering long-term competitiveness and success. They begin their process with a thorough innovation audit, analysing the current situation by interviewing staff and management.

This opportunity is aimed at individuals interested in promoting innovation and research & development (R&D) within French companies. As a key point of contact for your portfolio of clients, you will take on various stages of support assignments. This position offers a chance to contribute to innovation and R&D across various business sectors, from startups to major corporations, and collaborate with a diverse range of clients.

In this role you will work as an Innovation Management Consultant, helping companies implement innovative technological solutions, reduce R&D costs, enhance team management and support organisational changes. Your role will involve conducting innovation audits, presenting diagnoses, proposing solutions and managing applications for funding. Additionally, you’ll provide expertise on relevant regulations related to innovation implementation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing relationships with R&D teams within your client companies.
  • Conducting audits of R&D projects and assessing their eligibility for specific funding schemes.
  • Drafting applications for funding.
  • Providing ongoing follow-up and support to clients.
  • Staying updated on public funding schemes.

Key requirements:

  • Higher education or similar experience in a scientific field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, including internships, involving the analysis or description of technical issues (e.g. R&D department, design office, or intellectual property firm).
  • Curiosity and an interest in exploring diverse scientific fields and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse and summarise information effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
