A multinational FMCG company is looking to recruit a Senior PR Manager for their growing in-house team. The ideal candidate should have experience of both consumer and corporate PR and a passion for and focus on sustainability. You will be skilled at engaging with different media channels and effectively creating momentum and interest with external audiences around their corporate responsibility activities. The role will have an internal focus too. You will be asked to work with Brand Managers and Directors to really educate them on the group’s sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and executing leading communication campaigns aimed at external audiences to raise awareness of sustainability credentials at a corporate and brand level.
  • Support in development of strategies to exemplify the corporate storytelling campaign to enhance the firm’s reputation and drive growth.
  • Identify and select the most appropriate channels and mechanics to engage with external audiences; this includes a PESO model and also key opinion leaders.
  • Formulate compelling PR narratives around key topics of sustainability.  Narratives to clearly articulate how the brands are following through on their ambitions.
  • To monitor and report on sustainability developments, providing full and regular insight to the business on PR areas.
  • Collaborative working with internal stakeholders to build reputation and play a key role in planning and delivering media activities for key campaigns in trading calendar.

Key Requirements: 

  • Previous in-house or agency experience
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Capable media handler that can build strong positive relationships with consumer groups
