This Head of Office role is a unique opportunity to join an integrated global consultancy to help expand their presence in Brussels.  Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced leader with a knack for advocacy and communications, to lead a dynamic team, shape insights into Public Affairs campaigns applying communications and advocacy campaigns approach to it. 

As the Head of Office, you will report directly to the Deputy CEO and you’ll be at the forefront of their Brussels operations, building and managing client relationships while leading and growing a vibrant team. You’ll play a pivotal role in planning and executing advocacy and communications strategies, delivering successful public affairs campaigns, and driving content strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with Brussels-based / Brussels-focused clients but also international group clients.
  • Lead and grow a small team in Brussels as part of a larger European team.
  • Plan and execute advocacy, lobbying and communications strategies, including omni-channel campaigns.
  • Develop media engagement strategies and support global-scale advocacy planning strategies
  • Conduct research, collect data, and analyse results for communications and public affairs audits and strategies

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in public affairs, advocacy campaigns, and communications with growing responsibilities.
  • Leadership responsibilities experience in consultancy or agency, managing clients, budgets and teams.
  • Strong understanding of EU institutions and the Brussels ecosystem.
  • Excellent English proficiency; French at a business professional level or other languages (especially Spanish and German) are a plus.
  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines, collaborate effectively, and align with our client values and culture.
