We are working with one of the world’s largest alternative Asset Management Groups that focuses on creating positive economic impacts globally. This company oversees in excess of $881 billion in assets under management that include investment vehicles in private equity, real estate, public debt and equity, infrastructure and growth equity to name but a few. Our client is looking for an Analyst with exceptional interpersonal and writing skills to join their dynamic Global Public Affairs Team as soon as possible.

In this role, you will compile media reports and aid senior executives in their media pitches and speaking notes as well as implementing strategic communications plans whilst working as part of a team to always enable effective transaction communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft briefing notes, collating media reports, communications plans, talking points, Q&A, media pitches and speaking notes for our client’s senior executives
  • Working with our client’s business teams on transaction communications as well as the implementation of strategic communications plans
  • Contributing to internal communications content and develop knowledge of the company’s businesses, products, and competitors
  • Identifying external event and award opportunities for this company and its portfolio companies
  • Support in identifying media opportunities, responding to media enquiries and build media relationships for yourself and senior executives (particularly trade media).
  • Researching, editing, and proofreading media materials
  • Working with vendors on special projects such as content creation for marketing purposes

Key Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate would be a specialist in Public Affairs working on Financial Services clients
  • You must be able to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks at once within a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task in dynamic and challenging situations
  • You must be a team player and able to engage with others as part of a fully functional team as well as taking individual responsibility when required
  • You must be proficient at writing with clarity about a wide range of technical subjects with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, emphasis on Outlook and Excel)
