We are conducting a global search for a Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs to join a prestigious family office based in the UAE. This pivotal position is responsible for driving both corporate reputation and brand positioning, with a focus on enhancing the global presence of the family office and its leadership. The EVP will be instrumental in building the international reputation of the CEO/Chairman and family members, managing high-stakes corporate communications, crisis management, and global media engagement. The role requires a seasoned leader to elevate the family office’s standing across its diversified portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global communications strategy, elevating the profiles of the CEO/Chairman and family members internationally.
  • Serve as the chief communications advisor, guiding on all aspects of media relations, public relations, and reputation management.
  • Lead the charge on crisis communications and issues management, ensuring rapid and strategic responses to critical situations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media outlets globally, enhancing media engagement and coverage.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality communication materials, including press releases, speeches, and media statements.
  • Strategically plan and execute public appearances and global media engagements for the CEO/Chairman.
  • Monitor and manage the global reputation of the family office, ensuring a consistent and positive brand perception across markets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align communication strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Lead and implement internal communication strategies that resonate across all levels of the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in corporate communications at a senior executive level, ideally within multinational environments.
  • Proven expertise in building and managing the public profiles of CEOs and senior executives globally.
  • Demonstrated success in crisis communication, with the ability to make decisive and effective communication decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong international media relationships and the ability to influence coverage across multiple regions.
  • Experience managing external PR agencies and aligning them with the broader communication strategy.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and ownership-driven approach to leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with additional advanced qualifications preferred.
