Key Responsibilities for the Communications Director:
  • Lead strategic and leadership communications: Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO and executive team, crafting strategic messaging that aligns with organisational goals. Own and manage the company’s narrative, driving consistency in messaging across both internal and external channels to support the transformation journey.
  • Media and crisis management: Act as the primary spokesperson alongside the CEO, confidently handling media relations, investor communications, and crisis response. Represent the company in high-stakes scenarios, ensuring a poised, proactive, and prepared presence that upholds the company’s reputation under all circumstances.
  • Guide and support the executive team communications: Establish a robust communication framework for the leadership team, equipping executives with the tools and insights they need to convey key messages with clarity and confidence. Facilitate executive visibility and alignment across media engagements, and public speaking opportunities.
  • Shape and implement a strategic communications plan: Design a forward-looking communication strategy that is aligned with the company’s growth vision. This includes setting clear, measurable objectives across corporate brand, internal engagement, media relations, and change management to support the organisation’s long-term ambitions.
  • Build and inspire a communications team: Lead a team of four while coordinating with local market communication leads. Cultivate an environment that encourages strategic thinking, brand advocacy, and agility, empowering team members to deliver compelling communications that strengthen brand perception across all audiences.
Communications Director Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in strategic communications, particularly within complex, high-growth environments.
  • Confidence and poise to act as a spokesperson, with experience in media relations and crisis communications.
  • Strong change management expertise, ideally within a transformation context.
  • Strategic thinker with a capacity to define long-term communication strategies and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Fluency in English, with a preference for Prague-based candidates or those willing to establish themselves locally in the role.
