This is a unique in-house communications opportunity to join a leading international investment manager, investing in infrastructure which contributes positively to society and supports the transition to a net zero future.

Do you have fresh, new ideas ready to be put to the test? My client is looking for a driven new communications associate to join their team to support the development and implementation of their communications strategy. This individual may have an agency or inhouse background, but passion is key with a ‘can do’ attitude, in a team that manages in excess of US$12bn of equity capital in multiple private and listed funds, primarily for institutional investors across the globe.

Key Responsibilities – Financial Services Communications Associate:
  • Manage internal and external communications channels to “best-in-class” standards in terms of quality, timeliness and approach
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with the PR agency, webhost(s) and other communications agencies and provide crisis communications support, where required
  • Advise and collaborate with the listed funds on their websites and social media
  • Support brand events (Investor Event, Offsites, Business Partners Events), advise on branding and messaging
  • Input into draft all external communications such as press releases, the Sustainability Report, thought leadership creation, advise on corporate messaging, tone and style
  • Create written content to ‘translate’ between technical experts and an external audience
Key Requirements – Financial Services Communications Associate:
  • Experience gained working in Corporate Communications in-house and / or in a PR or Communications agency
  • Experience in investment, financial services or infrastructure
  • Excellent written English and able to draft high quality copy
  • Strong PowerPoint design / creation capabilities
  • Experience in website management and social media management
  • Confident and organised, can demonstrate ability to manage own time and prioritise competing tasks to meet tight deadlines and remain unfazed when the unexpected arises
