Responsibilities:

• Multi-Platform Reporting: Deliver comprehensive coverage across various platforms for Channel Islands’ finance industries and related sectors.
• Insightful Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis of economic trends, financial developments, and pertinent business news, ensuring accuracy and relevance across diverse media.
• Engaging Content Creation: Develop compelling content for multiple publications and digital platforms within the commercial portfolio.
• Expert Commentary & Coverage: Contribute incisive news coverage, craft long-form articles, conduct in-depth analysis, and create engaging interview features, including podcasts.
• Revenue Generation: Spearhead revenue initiatives while supporting the Commercial Editor in diverse commercial features programming.
• Expectations: Demonstrate exceptional storytelling, possess financial acumen, and present innovative strategies to engage audiences and drive revenue.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Journalistic Expertise: Exceptional writing skills, multi-platform reporting experience, and the ability to conduct insightful interviews and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Financial Acumen: Good understanding of financial services, economic trends, and the business community.
• Innovative Approach: Proactively explore innovative strategies to engage audiences and elevate the organisation’s presence in finance and business domains.
