Our client, an award winning, employee-owned, independent consultancy is looking for their next Account Manager (or Senior Account Manager) to join their growing B2B corporate team. With a reputation for high-impact, strategic comms, in this role you’ll be part of a fast-paced and highly successful team where you have the opportunity to grow and develop while working on a varied portfolio of clients across energy, property, construction, and more.

You’ll play a key role in the business, acting as the eyes and ears of the team, scouting out both issues as well as opportunities both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B corporate comms within an agency setting, be passionate about client servicing, and have a great nose for a story.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for your clients, working with them and our teams to deliver successful content campaigns
  • Unearthing stories and crafting features, case studies, press releases and online content
  • Taking responsibility for driving forward a portfolio of varied accounts simultaneously, backed by an Account Director and the wider team
  • Owning the campaign or project strategy defined in the original programme, leading, and motivating the team
  • Ensuring everyone on the account is aware of their priorities, delivers on time, on target, achieving the overall objectives to a high standard of quality

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an agency setting working with B2B corporate clients
  • Have successfully dealt with all aspects of a communications or engagement campaign/project, having driven it forward to the point of delivery
  • Be adept at turning complex information into fresh, engaging content for audiences including the media, stakeholders, the general public and online
  • Have an interest in and understanding of local and national politics and current affairs
  • Possess excellent communication and time management skills
