We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Associate Director to join our client’s growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across their client base, particularly focusing on vital issues in energy, education, financial services, infrastructure and transport. You will play a pivotal role in leading strategic counsel, directing integrated creative campaigns, and advancing expertise in business development. Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and execute integrated public affairs and communications campaigns in transport, infrastructure, financial services, and related sectors, demonstrating measurable achievements.
  • Quickly absorb, communicate, and navigate complex policy, regulatory, and commercial issues to develop effective strategies.
  • Provide structured advice, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities to impress clients and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Take initiative in creating programs and leading projects from conception to successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by leveraging familiarity with sector-specific challenges and demonstrating flair for identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Execute responsibilities, focusing on subject mastery and team leadership. Manage and mentor a team, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements:  

  • Several years of relevant experience in public affairs, strategic communications, or related fields, with a proven track record in transport, infrastructure, financial services, or similar sectors.
  • Exceptional ability to understand and communicate complex issues, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in managing daily client account operations, addressing client needs, task delegation, and collaborating with senior teams.
  • Familiarity with business development practices and enthusiasm for networking, influencing, and sharing insights to contribute to the growth of the organisation.
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset, showcasing the ability to recruit, nurture, develop, and lead a team effectively.
  • Innate curiosity about economic, political, and social issues, coupled with a commitment to staying informed about current news and trends.
