Our client is a London-based independent communications agency offering comprehensive services in B2B and corporate communications to drive business growth and enhance reputations across a variety of sectors; tech, FS, ESG, transport, sustainability, retail etc.

Reporting to the MD and CEO, the role of an Associate Director encompasses supporting and influencing the agency’s commercial goals through the delivery of exceptional client work and authoritative senior guidance. You’ll provide inspiration and direction to client teams, ensuring profitable and on-target project outcomes. Moreover, you’ll oversee new business efforts, collaborating closely with senior and junior teams to meet set timelines and defined roles.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • To act as a trusted advisor to your clients and bring your expertise in running campaigns.
  • To ensure the team is delivering the highest possible standard of work for your clients, within budget whilst ensuring that you are one step ahead of the longer-term programme needs.
  • Setting the team up for success on a day-to-day basis, whilst working with the client to identify and address their emerging strategic needs.
  • Finding inventive solutions and compelling ways to deliver engaging campaigns and turn innovative ideas into reality, while partnering and collaborating with colleagues to identify unique storytelling opportunities.
  • Nurturing and expanding client relationships; identifying potential leads and areas of growth with existing clients, as well as broader new business leads.
  • Training and guiding junior team members and contributing to company culture.The role sits on the executive team, actively involved in agency management and advancement, demonstrating commitment to pushing the agency forward.
Key Requirements:  
  • Proficient in both corporate and B2B sectors with the potential advantage of corporate sustainability/ESG experience.
  • Knowledge of managing day-to-day operations of client accounts, responding to client requests, delegating tasks and working with the senior team.
  • Ability to manage clients’ budgets, prioritise and meet deadlines. Takes a hands-on approach by leading client accounts and shaping new business strategies.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of driving account growth, securing new business, and pioneering new service offerings.
  • Naturally curious, with a desire to stay up to date with the current industry trends.
