Account Manager – Technology, Innovation and Investment / London

We are looking for an Account Manager to join a leading public relations and communications agency in their London office, working across technology, innovation and investment. The role is to support them in the management of their roster of corporate client accounts focussing on delivering impactful communications strategies.

This is an opportunity for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset and is passionate about implementing a strategic and commercial impact for clients. This role would suit someone who is proactive, able to build relationships and keen to foster and develop new business opportunities in the fast-paced environment of a leading public relations agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary contact for a range of clients in different sectors, providing consultative guidance with support from senior team members
• Collaborating and fostering personal relationships with senior client stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and implementation of strategic communications
• Organisation, management and training of designated team members ensuring delivery of proposals
• Participating in the development and growth of the agency and helping ensure the delivery of new proposals for business

Key Requirements

• Experience of working in public relations either in a communications agency or a technology or financial services company
• Experience of being the primary day-to-day contact for clients, developing proactive ideas and dealing with senior client-side stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Some experience of working with B2B technology companies, finance companies, start-ups, or venture capital firms is preferable
• Experience working in media relations, or a knowledge of media and publications with an ability to foster strong media relations and build this knowledge up
• Analytical mindset with a view of making informed decisions and corresponding information to senior stakeholders
