Corporate/Consumer Account Manager, London

Key Responsibilities: 

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the day-to-day contact and providing strategic counsel as needed 
• Writing press releases and drafting research questions  
• Pitching to journalists to interest them in covering stories, as well as developing new media contacts 
• Proactively identifying ways to add value to clients, including cross selling other services 
• Building relationships with new clients and getting involved in new business pitches 
• Write engaging thought leadership pieces  

The ideal candidate will have: 

• At least a year’s experience in any of corporate, consumer, or corpsumer comms – this can be either in-house or agency 

• An understanding of media relations and pitching to journalists  
• Experience writing press releases  
• Experience in client management or account support
