As Global Communications Specialist in Helsinki, you’ll be the sixth member of the Supercell Brand & Communications team, responsible for advancing the company’s game-related communications strategies and outreach on a global scale. You’ll work closely with game teams, community managers, and marketing teams to amplify Supercell’s on-ground marketing initiatives and boost the company’s visibility in targeted geographic locations. This role is key to embedding Supercell’s games in the cultural landscape across multiple markets, helping them be “remembered forever.”

Global Communications Specialist Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Supercell’s earned media strategy across key markets, including Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan.
  • Support the establishment and management of a PR agency network worldwide, overseeing hiring and ongoing relationships.
  • Serve as a key contact for media inquiries, providing insights, interviews, and commentary on Supercell games.
  • Align communications efforts with longer-term marketing goals to enhance brand and game awareness.
  • Develop and maintain media relationships within the consumer, gaming, and entertainment sectors, focusing on key global regions.
  • Contribute to Supercell’s corporate brand-building initiatives, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints.
Key Requirements for the Global Communications Specialist:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in global communications, ideally within the consumer products or entertainment industries.
  • Demonstrated success in managing external communications campaigns, with full lifecycle ownership.
  • Exceptional English language and communication skills; proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
  • Background in both in-house and agency environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the gaming and entertainment news landscape, with insight into current trends.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful problem-solver who can prioritise and focus on high-impact tasks.
