Our client, one of the fastest growing companies within the global E-commerce marketplace is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director. They are searching for a visionary leader with the ability to coach and drive a team whilst developing the sales strategy and tactics for growth.

This role will be part of the international leadership team reporting directly to the VP of Sales EMEA and will lead and represent the teams in cross functional collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding the short-term and long-term business P&L through continuous optimisations and breakthroughs in merchandising, sales, analytics, product and marketing
  • Setting the strategic line, growth of business and engagement of teams across multiple territories and countries
  • Providing oversight on business development and merchant development within these regions as well as managing a large team – this will require setting goals and the monitoring of progress and success against targets and business input metrics
  • Providing direction on sales plans and establishing the highest levels of performance with future development and succession plans comprehensively set out for the team to incorporate a sense of high-performance culture
  • Be a key driver in achieving maximum business outputs and contributing to the development of the organisation’s overall strategic and annual business plan
  • Offering guidance and tutelage to peers and other employees to achieve the established short-term and long-term goals

Key Requirements:

  • Substantial experience leading both Sales Managers and large Sales Teams, and successful proven experience in P&L management
  • A deep understanding of B2B and the German market is essential in order to exceed the high-performance expectations in place, as well as developing the sales strategy and tactics for growth within the country/region – knowledge of other regional markets is desirable
  • Commercial knowledge combined with negotiation skills and the ability to work seamlessly between time zones is necessary
  • Putting the merchant and customer at the core of everything that they do and be culturally in touch with the open, international and diverse nature of our client
  • English and German speaker

Ultimately, you will be the key figurehead and strategic director for your assigned regions – you will implement the guidance that is required for further growth within the different countries and lead the organisation in its purpose of building exceptional experiences, communities and goods.
