My client is a not-for-profit, in the awards and event space, looking for a VP, Corporate Communications and PR in New York, to spearhead their communications strategy, both domestically and internationally.

They are looking for a communications professional with a passion for shaping narratives and driving impactful communications strategies who can play a pivotal role in elevating the brand’s presence and reputation on a global scale!

You will:

  • Partner with the Chief Marketing and Brand Officer to create and execute the company’s external communications strategy to position them as the progressive, inclusive leader of effectiveness in line with Brand KPI’s and guidelines.
  • Build and execute proactive and reactive communication plans that align with business goals to raise awareness and drive growth across their core product areas of Awards, Insights and Academy.
  • Manage and grow relationships with relevant media across marketing trade and business media.  Manage the partnership with the external PR agency to drive coverage of key events, products, and the wider narrative.
  • Work directly with C-Suite and the Global Board to build their professional profiles in a way that furthers the brand and amplifies core product messages.
  • Collaborate with the Awards and Growth and Innovation teams to help deliver major events and product launches, for example, the annual Awards Gala
  • Be the point person for crisis management working into the CBMO and CEO.
  • Manage the Social Media Co-Ordinator and oversee all owned Social Media channels, amplifying PR & associated content activities to drive greater engagement and build key audiences.
