Role Overview:

As the Office Support Executive at Hanson Search and The Work Crowd, you will be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient work environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the office’s daily functions, supporting senior management, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

This person will be pivotal in driving engagement and maintaining our vibrant office culture. From organising fun work parties and events to being the central contact for all office-related queries, you will help create an environment where our team can thrive. We need someone with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Coordinate with building management for office maintenance and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Handle the ordering, repair, and setup of office equipment, especially for new hires.
  • Assist with travel bookings and itinerary management.
  • Organise exciting companywide events such as the summer and Christmas party and lunch clubs.
  • Champion our charitable initiatives, planning and executing fundraising events.
  • Maintain our ongoing B Corp commitments and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations for company meetings and support pitch preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure all team members feel happy and supported and act as a key point of contact.

In addition to your key responsibilities, you will also be involved in various ad hoc tasks, acting as the company’s go-to person and serving as a central figure within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in office management or a related administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in planning international and group travel.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
