Based in the UAE, the new VP of Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a strategic communications vision that fosters transparency, enhances stakeholder engagement, and ensures consistent messaging across all interactions. Responsibilities cover all aspects of corporate communications, media relations, and events to enhance their reputation, as well as to elevate the personal branding and thought leadership of the C-suite executives, aligning their public personas with the company’s objectives. Additionally, you will champion innovative corporate communication strategies, driving significant impact and legacy-building efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evolution of the brand through strategic communication and collaboration, ensuring consistent and transparent messaging across all stakeholder interactions.
  • Elevate the personal branding and thought leadership of C-suite executives, utilising various platforms, including social media, to align with the company’s broader objectives.
  • Drive innovation in corporate communications, adopting disruptive approaches to create lasting positive impact and build a legacy for the brand.
  • Oversee the management of stakeholder relations, including investors, partners, employees, and customers, to support business goals and cultivate positive relationships.
  • Champion corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts, highlighting ethical business practices and community involvement.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in corporate reputation, crisis management, sustainability, and brand communications, with a preference for property, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field.
  • Strong initiative, independence, and adept agency management skills.
  • Hands-on working style with the ability to effectively translate plans into actions and monitor progress.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities swiftly.
  • Excellent command of both English and Arabic communications.
