We are excited to announce the release of our latest salary guide: Talent Landscape 2020.
This report was a real labour of love. From a combination of market research, our large database of professionals, and aggregated data from our expert consultants, we’ve compiled our latest and most comprehensive marketing and communications salary guide to date.
The Hanson Search Talent Landscape 2020 will help you understand up-to-date hiring trends across all areas of marketing and communications. It includes remuneration tables across agency and in-house roles, remuneration trends, benefits overview & trends, as well as insights around culture and job satisfaction.
If you need help planning budgets, benchmarking salaries, attracting & retaining top talent, or understanding your own market value in preparation for upcoming appraisals or job search, then this guide is for you.
Gender Pay Gap: Basic salaries for marketing communications professionals were similar for males and females in the early stages of their careers. However, for respondents aged 35+, males earn significantly more than females in the industry.
Seven out of ten marketing communications professionals received a pay rise in 2019.
Almost half of the survey respondents (44%) feel they are underpaid, and a quarter are willing to move to another organisation for a ≤ 10% pay rise.
88% of respondents have some working from home opportunities, with 31% always/regularly working from home.
Flexible working: Most marketing communications professionals receive generous annual leave and flexible working options as part of their benefits package. Many are now asking for this upfront during the interview process. It’s great to see that 70% of businesses are offering flexible working in response to the growing demand we’ve seen over the last few years.
