‘Gems in Comms’… with Sarah Samee, Award-winning Corporate Communications expert

‘Gems in Comms’ is a new podcast series launched by Hanson Search in association with 9to5workrebels, exploring working experiences of Black, Asian, and Ethnic Minority talent in the UK PR and Communications industry.

Hosted by Hanson Search Advisor Ebony Gayle, the series provides real experiences from established Black, Asian and Ethnic minority professionals working in the PR and communications industry sharing valuable and impactful insights about their career journeys, racism at work, thoughts on diversity and what makes a good working environment.

Sarah Samee is an award-winning strategic communications leader with two decades of experience across public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Sarah’s PR career began at Barclays and she has since held senior roles at the Metropolitan Police Service, Home Office, Cifas and Lloyd’s Register. Sarah is former Vice President of Women in PR, former Vice Chair of Sutton Carers’ Centre, a Non-Executive Director for Slenky, a social platform connecting young people to leading brands and businesses and a Trustee of The Student View, a media literacy charity.
