The benefits of promoting diversity and inclusion are clear, allowing a greater chance of selecting the best candidates from the widest pool. By boosting diversity of thought, businesses can broaden their skills, knowledge and experience base, which results in higher levels of employee retention and engagement.

There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to promoting diversity or building a more diverse workforce. It must be aligned with your business, markets and sectors. By understanding the advantages specific to your business or organisation, you will be better equipped to get your whole team behind the initiative. 

We hosted a panel made up of business leaders who are experimenting with new approaches to equality and diversity. They discussed how these efforts have impacted their businesses as well as the challenges they have faced, offering practical tips that can be adapted and replicated in your own business.
