Hanson Search is partnering with Mission Partners, a certified B Corp, to help them find their next Director. This fully remote role is crucial in managing and growing relationships with clients, delivering high-quality execution of comms strategies, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the agency.

Mission Partners guides purpose-driven organisations in realising their greatest social impact. They offer strategic planning, visioning, and communications services to foundations, nonprofit organisations, and social impact initiatives. Their work supports organisations during pivotal moments of transition, helping them increase their impact and amplify their stories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving client success by aligning strategic vision with project execution
  • Leading on client projects and supporting on the development of comms strategies, ensuring alignment with client goals and social impact objectives.
  • Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, guiding Account Executives, and advancing client goals with excellence.
  • Serve as the primary client relationship manager, building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Guide and oversee the work of Account Executives, serving as a mentor in project execution and professional growth.
  • Ensure seamless communication and alignment between the client and the internal team.
  • Lead on key aspects of client deliverables and contribute as a doer on client projects.
  • Oversee research and content creation performed by Account Executives, ensuring quality and alignment with client goals.
  • Lead planning sessions with clients, helping to define their goals.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Experience in a communications agency, with some experience in people management
  • Experience in managing nonprofit, foundation, and/or social impact client accounts
  • Expertise in supporting strategy, content development, and implementation across nonprofits or social change organisations
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering impact
  • High emotional intelligence and a customer service-oriented mindset
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a fully remote, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment
