Our client, a strategic comms consultancy based in Central London, is seeking an ambitious, creative, and driven Account Manager to join their dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in media, communications, or politics who excels at building client relationships, generating compelling ideas, and managing end-to-end client projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager / Senior Account Manager:
- Develop and deliver strategy documents, ensuring high standards in writing and presentation for board-level clients.
- Create innovative ideas for campaigns, communications activations, and social media strategies.
- Build trusted client relationships through regular face-to-face and virtual meetings.
- Support senior team members across all client work, producing engaging content for both traditional and digital platforms.
- Oversee day-to-day account management, including workflow, deadlines, and reporting processes.
- Manage junior team members, overseeing daily and weekly monitoring reports and ensuring quality output.
- Identify new business opportunities and support marketing activities.
Account Manager / Senior Account Manager Profile:
- A confident, creative thinker with a positive attitude and strong research skills to support ideas.
- Dedicated people manager with a commitment to helping junior team members develop their skills.
- Experienced in media, communications, or politics, with a strong client-facing background.
- Experience in crisis and issues management, senior client counsel, and campaigning highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to getting things right the first time.
- Skilled communicator, capable of taking the lead in both writing and presenting.
- Collaborative, self-starting, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial in approach.
Account Manager / Senior Account Manager Experience & Skills:
- Experience in corporate communications, media, or politics, with client-facing work across diverse sectors.
- Proven success in leading communications campaigns, including social media and content creation.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe, with strong skills in content creation and team management.
